Tree Planting in Memory of Armenian Genocide
On April 12, one of successful TRDP beneficiaries Kamo Hambaryan (Fish breeding, Rest Zone), with the support of TRDP Shirak Program Leader Zorair Kirakosyan, organized a tree-planting ceremony next to his business premises in Bazum village to commemorate 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. More than one hundred community members joined Mr. Hambaryan to plant five hundred trees in the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide. The event and the socially driven behavior of Mr. Hambaryan served as a good example and fostered a sense of community among the villagers.
