TRDP Beneficiary Arshak Evinyan Will Soon Open Accessories Store in the Town of Ayrum

Mr. Arshak Evinyan, an entrepreneur who applied to the Turpanjian rural development program of the American University of Armenia to develop his entrepreneurial skills, received financial assistance to establish an accessories store in his own community of Ayrum, in the Tavush region. He is already completing the construction of the store and will start operations in a few weeks!

Mr. Evinyan told the TRDP chair, Dr. Haroutune Armenian and other staff, about the developments in his business when they visited the beneficiary. Mr. Evinyan completed the construction of the ground, the walls, the second floor, and the roof. He also already installed the doors and windows of the store. According to the beneficiary, the store will start operations in a few weeks.

The main purpose of this construction is to make the store comfortable and safe and to provide sales services for the population of Ayrum and the surrounding communities. Mr. Evinyan is going to sell jewelry (silver and gold) and clothes. Mr. Evinyan expects this business will create four (4) jobs in the town of Ayrum.
